Eye Examinations
Great eye care begins with regular eye examinations.
At MacAdorey Optometrists, we offer a personalised service with one of our experienced Optometrists. Our assessment includes:
- Spectacle prescription
- Examination of ocular health including Fundus Photography
- Ocular Coherence Tomography(OCT) scan.
You may be eligible for reduced cost examinations via the NHS. You can check on the NHS website if you feel that you should be entitled to a free Eye Exam.

Enhanced Eye Examinations with OCT
Upgrading your eye examination to include OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) technology offers unparalleled insight into your eye health. OCT provides detailed 3D images of the layers beneath the surface of your retina, allowing us to detect and monitor subtle changes that may not be visible during a standard eye exam.
This advanced technology is particularly beneficial for identifying early signs of conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, often before symptoms appear.
By choosing OCT, you’ll benefit from a more thorough assessment, enabling earlier diagnosis and greater peace of mind about your vision and overall eye health.
